I am a Licensed Professional Counseling who has been working in the mental health and addictions field for over 4 years. During that time, I have helped adults and adolescents with issues such as depression, anxiety, mood instability, trauma, schizophrenia, and substance abuse.
I use a mindfulness-based approach and bring multicultural awareness to each sessions. I believe that building a trusting relationship and providing validation is key to the client's growth and healing. I have received training in addictions, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and trauma focused therapies such as TF CBT and EMDR.
At the end of the session, I want my clients to feel understood and empowered to navigate through challenges in their lives.
