About
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor experienced in working with children, adolescents, emerging and adult clients. I have interests in (but not limited to): Depression, Anxiety, Grief, Trauma, Identity Development, parenting skills and Anger Management.
I hold specialized training in Trauma - Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, as well as frequently utilize Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral and Humanistic Approaches. Additionally, I hold specialized training in global mental health with an emphasis on African and Caribbean Mental Health.
I believe that therapy is a partnership, one where the clinician joins the client on their journey towards their goals.
