Hello! I believe in taking a holistic approach to counseling, which means viewing the person in their entirety. Whatever the presenting problem, it is part of a bigger picture and is connected to other aspects of the client's life. My goal is to create a positive therapeutic environment, assist the client with gaining insight, and collaborate on strategies to overcome the presenting problem.
My approach is based on exploring subconscious motivations and highlighting the connections between thoughts-feelings-actions and past experiences. This process includes exploring culture and its importance.
I work with adults, families, & couples. While working with my clients, I create an egalitarian relationship, where our joint efforts create a plan of action. Together, we will explore personal growth and address any lingering issues. While we will target immediate issues, the goal is to create personal understanding and strategies for long-term wellbeing.
