The first time I heard the saying "Nothing About Us Without Us" I fell in love, and I now have regular, ongoing consultation with autistics, including autistic counselors. I'm here to make life easier, kind of like a Mental-Health Interpreter, bridging the gap between the autistic and neurotypical world. Together, we can focus on easier communication, promoting understanding, building connections, and ensuring access to a life worth living. Or, maybe on just making it through the next week. My approach is strictly NON ABA, NON-behaviorally-focused, and highly trauma and PDA-informed.
If you're autistic, in love with an autistic, raising an autistic, or maybe - like me - just happen to love the flavor they (you!) bring to our lives, you should message me. I've been through hell and back with the people I love and their mental health issues, and I've got the energy and sense of humor to make the journey a few times with you, too.
I have specialized experience in working with Autism, Trauma, ADHD, PDA, Anxiety, DMDD, Depression, Parenting/School issues, and Addiction. I am an ally and an active advocate for oppressed and marginalized people. Note: Undiagnosed/suspected autism welcome! I am ASD nuanced-presentation informed, perceptive, and compassionate.
