With 25+ years of experience and training, I believe I can help you. I treat adults and couples. While people are each unique in their own way, they bring to therapy similar issues, including: Anxiety, depression, stress, relationship difficulties, early childhood trauma, and a basic desire to understand themselves better. Understanding yourself better,and moving into your future with confidence, is an overarching focus in my therapeutic approach. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and other therapeutic techniques to help my clients achieve their goals. I teach people how to quiet their brain and their bodies with meditation and breathing practices.
Because of my many years of practice, I have treated adults for many issues. My specialties with adults include: Anxiety, panic, phobia; depression; stress due to work, loss, change; childhood trauma; and behavioral addictions. I work with couple relationships using John Gottman's techniques, having Level I and II training.
After the many years I have been a therapist, I have gained insight into how I can best help others. First, a strong therapeutic relationship is vital.
