I served in the United States Air Force, then worked in mental health rehabilitation centers. These experiences deepened my respect for the resilience of the human spirit and broadened my appreciation for diverse cultural perspectives. I went on to earn a Master’s and Doctorate, and now bring both clinical expertise and lived experience to my work.
My specialized training is in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). My doctoral research focused on combining KAP with EFT, an innovative integration that reflects my commitment to advancing mental health care through both research and evidence-based practice.
