Hi! I'm Daisy (she/her/ella). I provide grief counseling for BIPOC adults in Denver. You're still struggling despite trying your best to cope. You worry that you're going to feel like this forever and you're ready to feel like yourself again. You deserve to get your life back. I specialize in stuck grief from suicide, overdose, and sudden deaths. I have 10+ years working with grief and used to work as a bilingual grief counselor running grief groups at a local grief center. My practice is trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, spiritually attuned, and LGBTQ+ affirming.
Somatic EMDR helps you get unstuck so you can stop bracing and start relaxing. Exposure and Response Prevention helps you break out of the worry-looping cycle over the worst that could happen in the future. We'll incorporate parts work, mindfulness, and meditation practices so you can get back to living your life based on your values and not your fears.
I'm here to help support you because grief is messy! As a first-gen Mexican-American Latina, I'm passionate about providing BIPOC folks a comfortable space to process their grief where they can bring all of themselves, including their culture and spirituality, and not worry about being judged.
