About
I believe that everyone has the ability to grow, heal, and live up to their potential. My role as a therapist is to help you find meaning in your life and access your own inner creativity and strengths. If you are struggling with feelings of sadness, anxiety, or are having difficulty navigating daily stresses and relationships, I can help. I provide a warm, non-judgmental, and safe environment to address issues that are interfering with ones ability to function optimally as well as teach skills that reduce stress and build self-esteem.
Trained as a clinical and school psychologist, I have experience in schools and clinical settings. Using cognitive behavioral, psycho-dynamic, and client-centered approaches, I help children/adolescents/families and adults who struggle with emotional and/or behavioral issues including stress, self-esteem, depression, anxiety, OCD, trauma, ADHD, Aspergers, learning disabilities, etc.
I also conduct psycho-educational evaluations to assess for learning disabilities, ADHD, and other behavior disorders. I believe that when working with kids and teens, it is essential to work collaboratively with the parents. I am especially passionate about teaching positive parenting skills and helping parents navigate the normal ups and downs of parenthood.
