I am here to help guide you on your path to taking back control and loving your life. An ability to voice your pain will allow you to begin healing your psyche. As a therapist I offer non-judgemental acceptance. Most of my work has addressed a crisis or tipping point that has brought the client into treatment. I work with women on issues of self esteem and developing boundaries in their lives, couples who are struggling with anger and misunderstanding and with geriatric issues.
My commitment to you begins with our initial appointment. I will provide active listening and that allows the client to speak freely without interruption. I would try and provide soothing or non threatening body language. I would not “tell” the client how to feel, but would help guide them to discover for themselves how they feel.
