About
One of my greatest joys, is helping individuals, couples and families learn to manage the various, yet often unavoidable, stresses of life. Our days are packed with work, school, family, and relationships. We come home depleted and then it starts all over again the next day. Feelings of anxiety, panic, depression, anger, and/or lack of motivation, are inevitable. So it grieves my heart when clients ask what's wrong with them. So while we may need to "power through" certain situations, I help my clients develop strategies that are tailor made to their circumstances and personality, to successfully complete the marathon of life.
For over 23 yrs. I've had the opportunity to work with individuals, families and couples in various settings to improve communication and conflict resolution as well as work through many challenging emotional struggles, and relational problems. As I continue to practice, one thing has remained a key focus, establishing a therapeutic relationship & trust.
My goal is to help you discover, as well as remind you of the strengths and resiliency you already possess. We work together to develop these qualities to help strengthen the foundation needed to increase your competence and confidence to adapt to, manage and even overcome the various stressors, adjustments, and hurdles that inevitably come our way.
