We are all alive and trying to learn something about living; we live the way that we feel. We do this automatically (and whether we know it or not) in relationship: in relating to our self and to others. Therefore, my philosophy is everything is emotional and relational and personal; everything matters. And, most often, what really deeply matters in most unknown to ourselves.
As humans, we create ourselves and much of our experience everyday. We are constantly deciding, consciously and unconsciously, what we will do; why we will do it; how we will live in the world. Our task, then, you and I, is engaging these important processes together. Our task, is to think and create and feel simultaneously why you are the creator you are.
Psychoanalytic therapy has been described as a healing conversation. It is the intimate opportunity to get into relationship with psychic organization, pain, and suffering with the hope of understanding and overcoming these issues with greater creative freedom.
