My ideal client is one who has a committment to growth. They are seeking peace and tranquility in their lives. I believe that our mission in life, is to be joyful. Many times, we pick up beliefs and practices that get in the way of fully experiencing the joy in our lives.Teaching clients the skills they need to unravel day to day issues is my ultimate goal. My clients struggle with a variety of life issues such as; depression, anxiety, grief, lonliness and relationship issues to name a few. We partner together through the process of healing.
I have worked in community mental health for 14 years as a crisis intervention specialist. Since many clients come to me in crisis, this has been an enormous help in establishing rapport. I have worked with children and adolescents for over 20 years. I have been called "The Child Whisperer".
I am trained in a variety of traditional practice theories; Trauma Informed Treatment, DBT, SFBTand CBT to name a few. I also specialize in energy work. Focusing on thoughts and behaviors that increase positive energy flow. We employ visualization and breathing techniques to assist in reframing negative thought patterns.
