People often seek therapy when they are in a crisis or are facing roadblocks and want to change their lives. My goal is to use evidence based practices that have scientific support for their effectiveness within the context of a good working relationship. I also want you to achieve change as quickly as possible.

I have over 25 years experience using psychotherapy with individuals, couples and parent-child dyads. I am also an Associate Professor in the Clinical Psychology PhD program at the George Washington University.

My office is on Connecticut Avenue, a short walk north from the Van Ness Metro stop. Please give me a call if you have any questions or want to consult with me by phone before scheduling a meeting.
