About
**I AM NOT CURRENTLY ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS. Are you tired of just talking about your problems? I will help you to find solutions. Seeking therapy is the first step to feeling better. Admitting that you need help managing what life is presenting you with can be scary, but things WILL improve and I can help. In order to take back control of their lives, I work collaboratively with individuals and their families to develop skills and strategies to help manage life stressors and empower them to take control of their emotional health, relationships and overall feelings of well-being.
I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to help people identify how their thoughts, beliefs and attitudes affect their feelings and behaviors and then work to change maladaptive thought patterns. In addition, I incorporate problem solving strategies, conflict management, communication skills, mindfulness and meditation into my therapeutic work.
With the understanding that there is often anxiety and uncertainty associated with seeking treatment I strive to provide a comforting and compassionate atmosphere that allows the healing process to begin. Please contact me for more information. Email inquiries will receive quicker responses than voicemail messages.
