About
COVID and the years of quarantine may have altered or disrupted our relationships -- to our families, friends, work and communities, and to our future goals. Some changes have gone smoothly; in others we have faced obstacles from our environment and from within. All have the potential to lead us to discover new aspects of our selves. My clients are curious about themselves and others, eager to discover their new or long forgotten strengths to create more satisfying relationships.
For over 25 years I have helped individual clients, couples, adult children and parents strengthen and enhance their relationships to themselves and to one another. I have experience and training in the Developmental Model of couples therapy. I tailor my approach to the needs of each client.
I am a good listener and do not hesitate to give feedback and/or advice when useful. I am mindful of the effect of the current political climate including gun violence, racial inequality and the recent abolition of Roe v Wade on my clients' sense of well-being. I welcome those issues into our sessions.
