Through adversity blooms strength. Seeking therapy, processing painful feelings, challenging yourself, and growing is a true depiction of strength. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, trauma, and grief and loss related issues in Hispanics and other minority groups. I utilize evidence-based treatments, in particular, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT).
I am a proud first-generation Latina and have been a therapist for the last 12 years, serving the Los Angeles County area. It would be my pleasure to walk beside you on this journey.
My treatment specialties include anxiety, depression, trauma, and grief and loss. The most frequent therapies I utilize are Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Trauma Narrative Therapy. I have a Ph.D. in Counseling and Psychological Services with a concentration on trauma and crisis counseling as well as a Master of Science Degree in Counseling Psychology.
I enjoy working with Latinos and different minority groups, being a first generation Latina woman myself. Seeking help takes courage and strength. Congratulations on making the first step towards growth. It would be my pleasure to walk on this journey besides you.
