Hi, I'm Cynthia, a Doctoral Student at Regent University, School of Psychology and Counseling. I am a Certified Trauma Informed Care Specialist.
My passion is combined with providing—healing and compassion to the population who has experienced trauma. Trauma-informed care is based on six principles that help reduce the likelihood of re-traumatization: Trustworthiness and transparency, Peer support, Collaboration, Empowerment, Culture, and Resilience. I also have an extensive education in marriage and family therapy. I am a Certified Prepare and Enrich Facilitator and Trainer!
