Cynthia Jaramillo Duxbury, LMFT, Marriage & Family Therapist in Corte Madera
If your child is bright and fun-loving but also maybe a tad too sensitive, spirited or anxious and you're looking for support, good news! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at the Mindful Resource Center (MRC) specialized in improving the lives of kids (as young as 2 years old) and their parents. At the centre we use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with an Attachment-based Mindfulness-oriented and Developmentally-supportive Approach, as well as, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), which simply means... IT WORKS!
In sessions, your child and you will experience our time together as helpful and engaging... like school (because they'll learn lessons and exercises). Art, mindfulness, creativity, curiosity and FUN are all my "co-therapists".
Your child will leave sessions feeling happier, more confident, more sociable and making healthier choices. For information and a listing of our groups, visit
