I have been working with children, young adults, and families for the past 20 years. I began my work in Early Childhood Development and worked with children birth-12 years old and later focused my work to include adolescents and the needs of this unique age group. I specialize in family therapy, grief, anger management, ADHD, social skill difficulties, spectrum disorders, anxiety difficulties, and early childhood traumas including, sexual abuse and child abuse. My experience extends to working with children, young adults and families. I also work as a counselor at New Way Academy, a school specializing in educating and supporting children in elementary through high school, with learning differences. I use a strength-based approach with my clients to get the best possible outcomes.
I have also included, in my practice, Ollie. He is a Lab/Australian Shepard mix pup and is very eager to support clients in the office.
