My goal is to help clients build practical coping skills, improve communication, strengthen realtionships, and confidence in managing life's difficulties.
I bring over 25 years of experience working with children, adolescents, young adults and families across a variety of developmental and clinical settings. I began my career supporting young children, later expanded my work to focus on adolescents and young adults and the unique emotional, social, and developmental challenges that arise during these stages of life. I support clients and families by providing a supportive, structured and strength-based therapuetic environment.
I specialize in children, adolescents and young adults focusing on anxiety, ADHD, anger management, grief and loss, executive functioning, depression, trauma, early childhood trauma, including abuse. In addition to my clinical practice I also serve as a school counselor at New Way Academy, a school dedicated to supporting students with learning differences.
Reaching out for the first time for support, can be very difficult and intimidating. I hope to make this step easier for you. An additional member to my practice is Ollie, a lab/shepard mix who participates as a support to therapy. Ollie helps to create a welcoming and calming environment for many clients.
