I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who is passionate about helping others. I have worked in this field for almost twenty years and specialize in trauma work. I am experienced in helping others through depression, anxiety, life stress, work stress and other challenges. My approach is very person-centered. Patients who see me are provided an abundance of skills to cope with everyday life stressors and emotions while we work on the deeper issues in session. I want patients to know that healing can happen and I am willing to take that journey with them.
I typically work with adults struggling with depression, anxiety, life or work stressors, relationship stressors or unresolved trauma. I am comfortable working with younger children who are struggling with the transition to school or have ADHD. I am comfortable working with complex trauma.
I am a very soft spoken therapist. As the sessions progress, my goal is that the patient feels comfortable in doing more and more of the talking. I want to guide you to healing but it has to be at your pace.
