Hello, My name is Cusanda Howard. I am a Licensed Marriage, Family and Child Therapist, board certified with the state of California. I graduated from San Francisco State University. I have worked with clients from ages 9-84. I started working with children with traumatic experiences of sexual, physical and emotional abuse. For the last 20 years I have worked with adults that have experienced traumatic deaths of children, Spouses/partners, parents, siblings and friends. Most of those deaths were homicides, suicides and domestic violence. I have worked with couples trying to resolve problems in their marriages or relationship.
I work with clients with PTSD depression, anxiety, couples who have relationship problems. I am trained in EMDR and Trauma Focused Cognitive and Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
No matter what your profession or economical status, it doesn’t exclude things from happening. I am available to help you build on skills that you didn’t know or didn’t remember that you had. All of us are capable of developing new coping skills to help us deal with traumatic incidents.
