I specialize in working with veterans and military-connected personnel at Paws and Stripes. Experiences connected to military life and service can affect how you relate to yourself, others, and the world around you.
I take a person-centered approach to therapy and strive to create a safe, supportive, and collaborative space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered in their growth. My expertise includes working with trauma, substance misuse, grief, anxiety, men's issues, and depression.
I integrate Motivational Interviewing, CBT and DBT concepts, trauma-informed care, mindfulness, and Reconsolidation of Traumatic Memories (RTM) to help clients process trauma-related symptoms, strengthen coping skills, navigate life transitions, and create meaningful, lasting change in a supportive and collaborative space.
Reaching out for support takes courage. Service to self is service to others, and work done in therapy can positively impact those around you. Paws and Stripes offers free individual counseling for military-connected personnel (veterans, family members, active duty, Guard, Reserve) and group counseling for veterans.
