Greetings and welcome to my professional profile. Thank you for your interest! My name is Curtis Andrew Peet, but most people call me Mr. Andrew. I am a licensed professional counselor in Sylvania, Ohio. I have been a licensed counselor since July 2020.
I primarily serve the mental health needs of children and adults in the greater Toledo area. Simply put, I love what I do! My multi-disciplinary training from Bowling Green State University has prepared me to incorporate counseling principles, family science, and the arts into my practice. I am a child-focused, family-centric therapist. Play is a child's first language. Play therapy is a tool that I use to help children feel comfortable. I frequently use the element of surprise to keep children engaged. I have strong counseling, assessment and listening skills to assist adults who want to make progress toward changes.
