Cumberland Youth & Family Services is proud to offer low-cost community counseling for children, teens, and adults, made possible through the generous support of local partners and grant funding. Low-cost counseling is available to Denton County residents who are uninsured or underinsured and meet income requirements. For those who do not meet these requirements, we offer sliding-scale options, and we accept Superior Medicaid, Ambetter, BCBS, and Cigna. Sessions are available in person or via Telehealth to best meet your needs. Take the first step toward reaching goals & finding solutions.
Our team—Elliott Ghaly (LPC), John Lloyd (LMFT-S), Delaney Brady (LCSW), Jason Smith (LMFT-Associate), Marshall Reid (Masters Intern), and Eli Updike (Masters Intern)—is currently accepting new clients for individual, couples, and family counseling. We offer a range of specialties, including EMDR, CBT, DBT, Person-Centered, Emotion-Focused & play therapy.
