In my practice, I work collaboratively with my clients; I believe that therapists are the experts of the process, and that clients are the experts of their own experience. I aim to create an empathic, compassionate and nonjudgmental environment, so that you can be unafraid to express any areas of yourself that have been tucked away.

Life is a continuum filled with daily stressors, life-altering events, happiness, joy, and everything in between. Where ever you might find yourself, I believe you are doing the very best that you can. It is my goal to walk beside you through your journey so that you or your loved one can achieve a purposeful life and overcome life's challenges. My nearly fifteen years of experience includes working with youth and adults who have experienced emotional and behavioral challenges, such as anxiety and depression, including working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and intellectual disabilities.

I am passionate about helping individuals reclaim their power over their life by using their strengths and resiliency to overcome their struggles. I love working with teen girls and young women struggling with anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, body image, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and OCD. However, I welcome any person and would be honored to share in your healing journey!

Kimberly is a licensed social worker as well as a board certified telemental health specialist. She also holds certifications in school counseling and school social work. Her goal is to meet clients where they are and adapt to what treatment works best for them using modalities that are individualized to meet your needs. Kimberly's specialities include, adult and child anxiety and depression, parent/child conflict, parenting and marital struggles, divorce, substance abuse, infertility, new parent transition, college counseling as well as life adjustment. While we can’t change our past, we can always create a new future.

Overwhelmed or life got you down? Relationship struggles? My goal is to help you as you go through the stressors of life and we can generate solutions together. Sometimes we can even find some humor in it all. I strive to find creative ways to approach our work together. I specialize in working with clients with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, relationship issues, complex PTSD, ADHD, and families of addiction. I utilize modalities of client-centered, family systems, trauma-informed care, solution-focused, CBT, strengths-based, multicultural perspectives, and existential and spiritual approaches to form a holistic approach.

I appreciate the courage it takes to seek help. As your therapist I will strive to have your therapeutic journey feel respectful, safe, and collaborative. I specialize in couples counseling and adolescent issues, however additional areas of skill include those struggling with loneliness, introversion, those seeking meaningful relationships, and with men’s issues. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor, Substance Abuse Professional with DoT and DBT certified therapist. I hold a master's degree in Public Health and Counseling Psychology . I am interested in treating a wide array of issues, including depression, anxiety, and substance-related disorder and Personality Disorder. I am also specialized in group and individual therapy. As a mental health therapist, I am passionate about helping my patients foster self-awareness and gain insight into their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.

I am currently accepting clients both through telehealth and in person! My passion has been to help my clients manage their mental health and ability to grow from within. The clients I support are people who struggle with mental health issues, addictions, family, couples' concerns. I've helped clients successfully navigate through abuse and trauma, life transitions and grief and loss. I specialize in human sexuality: sex education, sexual dysfunction, sexual health, sexual pleasure, navigating sex after health crisis, women's issues, postpartum, miscarriage, LGBTQ populations, sexual trauma and sex addiction.

With all clients, my goal is to help facilitate a dialogue that will assist individuals in building confidence to engage in meaningful relationships, increase problem solving skills and overall self-worth. Working with the client to achieve these goals, I provide an empathic, holistic, and safe space where clients become empowered to work towards a better understanding of themselves, building on the strengths they already possess.
