He specializes in working with children who have learning challenges, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and other behavioral problems. He provides family therapy, parent training and couples therapy. Dr. Schwarz consults with schools and clients' physicians to help coordinate treatment. He is fluent in Spanish and is unique in his ability to be culturally sensitive to his clients needs. Dr. Schwarz provides psychological evaluations for Immigration Issues and Waivers. I made the determination that I would pursue a career in counseling during my senior year of high school. Since I made that decision, I have done everything in my power to prepare myself to serve others utilizing several tools such as reflective listening, various modalities, and cultural competence.

One of my strengths is that I know how hard it can be to get started in therapy, so I always try to be sensitive and reassuring to my clients as we get to know each other. I am capable of reaching many different types of clients, but I most enjoy helping people who have been struggling for a long time and who cannot see a way out of their situation.
