Martine Saul is a licensed professional counselor with a B.A. in Psychology from Point Park University and a M.S. in Counseling Psychology from Chatham University. Her graduate field placements all took place within hospice and palliative care facilities, and she therefore, has experience and interest working with hospice patients as well doing bereavement, grief and loss counseling with those patients and their loved ones. Martine currently works full-time as a therapist in Private Practice. She has earned her certificate in Gerontology from the University of Pittsburgh. She is also trained in EMDR for trauma-informed care.

Kachina is a Board Certified Art Therapist working in the Pittsburgh region with those from all walks of life. Kachina is TF-CBT trained and she has most recently worked with immigrant teens from Central/South America, Afghanistan, and across the globe who have been displaced or are migrating to the United States for safety. Kachina has also worked with women and teens who have experienced domestic violence, sexual assault, and are homicide survivors. Being a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, Kachina also focuses her therapeutic work with those from this community who are maneuvering identity, relationship changes, and past trauma.

I have experience working with people who have experienced domestic violence, sexual assault, emotional abuse and neglect. I use DBT, CBT, MI, and EMDR. I believe that, since every client is different, they each require a different approach. Nothing cookie cookie cutter here! My approach uses a lot of laughter, really connecting with the client on a personal level, using lots of validation, and comes from a place that each client is the expert on themselves.

My approach to counseling that life is often uncontrollable, but we can control how we respond, how we communicate, and how we navigate through complex social/personal/professional issues. I have devoted my practice to working with clients with Eating Disorders (Anorexia, Bulimia, ARFID, OSFED, and BED) and Anxiety diagnoses. My main goal is to validate and empower clients to live authentically, and to deliver therapy in a way that is evidence-based and nurturing.
