Good day to you! My educational background is in Clinical Psychology and Counseling Psychology with a Post Masters in Applied Behavior Analysis. I began my career in providing behavioral and mental healthcare services in 2004. Since that time, I have devoted myself to helping youth, adolescents, and adults address neurodiverse needs. In June of 2016, I founded Beautiful Minds to meet the mental and behavioral health needs of youth, families, and adults living in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

This is my 24th year as a private psychotherapist. I specialize in the treatment of emotional/behavioral issues. I treat children, adolescents, and adults. I am an individual, couples, and family therapist. I am also a divorce mediator. I can also provide evaluations for hormone therapy, gender reassignment surgery, and medical marijuana. I have additional trainings in these areas and use evidenced-based techniques to help you overcome/manage these issues and live a life that you desire. I earned my BA in Psychology from St. Peter's University and a Master of Social Work from Rutgers University. I have over 20 years of experience as a School Social Worker in addition to my clinical work with individuals and couples. During our time together, we will focus on the experiences that have restricted your growth by creating a nurturing and supportive environment where you will feel comfortable and empowered. Our goals will include building your strength and resilience during life's most challenging moments while starting and maintaining positive relationships with your family and friends.

Jane has a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology. Prior to starting in the mental health field 6 years ago, Jane spent 27 years working in long term care and ran grief and loss and caregiver support groups. Jane also has experience working with the special needs population and has an adult son with Autism so she has personal experience advocating for this population and an understanding of the challenges faced by this population and their families.

I elicit hope when the world seems hopeless. My approach is to develop a therapeutic relationship where authenticity is encouraged in a compassionate, judgement free space. Majority of the children I work with simply want to just be kids, but there is a concern or barrier that needs to be addressed or removed first. Majority of the youth I work with are trying to figure out their purpose and how to focus on the future. The families I work with want to reduce stress and be cohesive. The couples I work with want to be unified and feel like they are together in their relationship. The adults want to be happy and content.

I am a licensed social worker who works with children (ages 4 to 18), families and adults by providing a trusting and supportive environment. I have experience working with various clients from diverse backgrounds across settings including the community, schools, homes and outpatient settings. I specialize in working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, OCD, bipolar disorder, ADHD, behavioral concerns, autism, and trauma. I am in the process of receiving supervision hours towards my clinical social work license.

I use a person-centered approach, a holistic one, to meet you where you are. For instance, what might be the nature of a depression? Each person is a bit different, and so can be the contributing factors. I will build a therapeutic relationship with you, based on trust, non-judgment, and empathy, so that you feel comfortable to take a deep dive within.

I have been working with children and adults for over 20 years, diagnosing and treating mental health issues. I believe there is a very large range of "normal" and we all struggle with life at times. My professional goal is to provide a safe atmosphere to identify and discuss stumbling blocks and guide others to a place where they can confidently be themselves, fulfill their potential and find joy. It can be challenging to ask for help, but taking that risk and facing your fears opens up a world of possibilities.

I've been supporting adults, adolescents, children, and families in both the school and community mental health setting for over a decade. As a therapist, school counselor, and EMT, I understand firsthand how challenging it can be to ask for help, especially when you are used to providing assistance to others.
