For over 30 years I have maintained a private practice woking with adults, children, couples, families and groups. I am also a certified divorce mediator. I have a degree in Special and Elementary Education.and have taught courses in assertiveness training and a divorce workshop for many years. I supervised the out patient department in Catholic Community Services for Six years. I also have worked in an eating disorders clinic and am familiar with 12 step programs. At this time, due to the amount of people who are in need of counseling, I am limiting my practice and am not working with young children or Anyone with eating disorders.
I have attended many person-centered group experiences as a participant as well as a facilitator and I believe that if we have an atmosphere where we can truly hear each other, where there is empathy and positive regard, healing will take place. I am interested in supervising Counselors. I will FACE TIME OR SKYPE.
It Is my belief that my commitment to my own personal growth is most important in my work with clients, students and relationships. My approach is non-directive. The client is the expert and I am the person that creates a space as the clients seek to empower themselves.

divorce support group
I have facilitated many groups for divorced men and women over the span of at least 30 years and am just in the process of forming a new group. I have a certificate in divorce mediation and am a licensed counselor. I taught a divorce course in the Ridgewood Adult School for 11 years. The cost will be minimal.
