Nobody should be in therapy forever. My strategy for over a decade has been to empower individuals and families to achieve their goals, improve their quality of life, and maintain lasting positive changes by getting to the root of what is causing you difficulty. I treat individuals (adults, children, teens) and families from a friendly, strengths-based, non-judgmental perspective. I specialize in treating adults, children, adolescents, and families who struggle with a variety of issues--from diagnosable mental health conditions (i.e., anxiety, OCD, PTSD), to normal life transition issues.
The research-based therapeutic techniques I use include cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, DBT, EMDR, ERP & play therapy. I have specialized training working with adults, children, & teens who have experienced trauma. I also have a special interest in assisting clients work through trauma as a barrier to maintaining a healthy weight.
Who has time for extra paperwork or financial worry in these times? Though I am not in network with insurances, I submit all of the paperwork for you as a courtesy to make the billing process easy. If you have out of network benefits, usually the balance after your insurance pays is no higher than an in-network copay at any doctor’s office!
