As a first-generation immigrant, familiarity with cultural norms and expectations can be oftentimes misunderstood. Each of us have our own unique familial and cultural ways of engaging and navigating in relationships and handling marital issues, family conflicts, work stressors, and even our self-worth and self-care. Over 30 years experience in the Human Services field: Marriage/Couples counseling, Separation Mediation, Multi-talent in Behavioral Health, Mental health Disorders, Substance abuse & Addiction disorders, and Co-occurring & Dual diagnosis disorders populations. Dedicated as a professional to ensure that the health and well being of the consumers are met and that each consumer receive the proper individualized treatment course of action with professional and ethical implementation. The Koch Center (located in Montclair, Morristown, Waldwick, & Englewood) specializes in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Therapy and Programs for Adults, Adolescents, Children, and Families. Our DBT Programs offer an opportunity to receive extensive support and expert treatment in an outpatient setting. We treat the full range of psychological issues (including Mood Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Impulse Control disorders, Eating Disorders, Trauma, Relationship Problems, Personality Disorders). We have an outpatient Trauma Program for Adults. We also offer individual therapy from varying theoretical orientations.

Footprints was started by a therapist who realized that often times the services provided to low socio-economic communities is lacking quality care. We noticed these communities were confronted with long wait times, disrespectful admins, and subpar treatment. The one and only purpose was to exploit the community for profit without providing the level of care deserved. Feel Better Therapy began from the inspiration to provide quality mental health care to the poorest of communities and treating the clients of this community the same way a rich patient would be treated in a clinic treating affluent clients.

Accepting new clients! Dr. Jeff’s wide range of clinical experience entails adolescents, adults, and elderly clients. While pursuing his doctorate in clinical psychology, he completed an externship at the Rutgers College Counseling Center where he worked with college students and spent two years at the National Institute for the Psychotherapies in New York City where he received psychoanalytic training and supervision in individual psychodynamic psychotherapy. Jeff is a Licensed Professional Counselor and has a permit to practice psychology in NJ.
