I have a rich clinical history working with children, adults and couples facing an array of challenges. With extensive experience treating trauma survivors I have been trained in EMDR and incorporate a mindfulness approach into my practice.
I also have a special interest in maternal mental health, treating men, women and couples who face the challenges that come with pregnancy and the postpartum journey. Often, when people struggle with perinatal issues they feel isolated. It is important for people to know they are not alone and can feel hope during this time.
I believe the therapeutic relationship is the most important component in the effectiveness of psychotherapy. I will always provide a trusting and safe environment and adapt the treatment based on the needs of each individual.
