I am a bilingual Licensed Professional Mental Health Counselor with 20+ years experience in treating issues such as depression, anxiety, anger management, family issues, grief, behavior problems and many other problems that people may be experiencing. I work with clients from diverse ethnic backgrounds and different sexual orientations. I have a unique, interdisciplinary background. The well-being of my clients is my biggest passion. I am committed to helping people avoid negative consequences in their lives and resolve their issues and internal conflict sensibly, effectively, and compassionately.

I offer a variety of traditional, creative, mind-body and Integrative approaches to healing. My mental health practices are rooted in attachment theory, supported by neuroscience research, with a trauma informed focus and a strong belief in the power of relationships. I also offer Integrative approaches to wellness. Utilizing herbal support in addition to a full treatment plan of wholistic options uniquely crafted for each client.

In relationships, experiencing mistreatment, neglect, invalidation, rejection, or abandonment can lead to a profound sense of disconnection from ourselves and others. This detachment often leads us to mistakenly identify with this sense of disconnection, causing immense pain and making it challenging to be present with our own emotions. Such experiences can trigger a state of imbalance, characterized by anxiety, or a 'freeze' response accompanied by symptoms similar to depression. These are the effects of trauma—an emotional response to distressing events that leave us feeling powerless.

I enjoy working collaberatively with clients. I like to start with determining my client's goal(s) and defining a plan to get them to their goal. I like for treatment to create lasting positive effects quickly. I love to see clients feel better and live more satisfying lives. I work with children, adults, and families. I work with trauma, grief, family dynamics, relationship issues, and much more. I use a variety of modalities to suit each client's specifics needs.
