I'm a laid back therapist whose goal is to provide a comfortable environment to people like you that is empathic, non-judgmental, and culturally sensitive. As a certified Brainspotting (BSP) therapist with extensive training, I can help you identify, process, and release emotional and physical sources of trauma, both big and small. BSP is an excellent tool for performance enhancement as well.

While active listening is an important skill for a therapist, listening is only a small part of what therapy might look like. Therapy is meant to be explorative, challenging, and a place that is solely for you and your needs. It is meant to give you tools and skills to improve daily functioning, identify meaning and fulfillment for yourself, create and maintain a safe headspace of thoughts, and build strong, intrapersonal, emotional intelligence. Sometimes our anxiety and other mental health issues we have developed over time can get into the way of living well or even knowing what that means for ourselves or our partner(s).

What does it mean to be in a healthy relationship? How do you know you’re in one? Relationships and sexual intimacy can be overwhelming and hard to navigate alone. To make matters worse, we’re surrounded by mixed messages about healthy romantic relationships and consent. To explore what you want from a healthy sexual relationship, you and I will discuss difficult topics without judgement so you can create the romantic and sexual life you want—in and out of the bedroom. You can have a happy, healthy, consent-filled sex life.

My goal is to help you live a Happy, Healthy and Successful life based on your own definition of success. For some, it is work-life balance, for others it is career advancement, reducing Social Anxiety, or doing better in school. However you define it, you and I will work together to develop a treatment plan that will set you on the right course towards achieving your goals.

Within 2–7 sessions, negative images, sensations and symptoms can be reduced allowing you to obtain immediate relief from the silent suffering you’ve been enduring. You’ll be treated professionally with compassion and empathy on your journey to wellbeing. I also specialize in working with Addiction and am the Clinical Director for Emerge Healing Center, a substance abuse and trauma focused intensive outpatient program. At the center of my specialities, I focus on working with couples and use a Gottman and EFT approach.

I am currently accepting new clients. I work with a diverse population of adults and young adults. We all experience major life transitions and can use support during stressful times. Some of us have also been traumatized by events/situations in our lives yet, we may not recognize the negative impact it’s having on our relationships and overall well being. Many of us simply go into auto pilot, fight or flight mode, become overwhelmed and struggle to cope.

Are you seeing challenging behavior changes in your children? As a result of working with me couples feel prepared for spending a lifetime together, families improve their co-parent and blended family relationships, parent-child relationships strengthen and the anxiety and depression experienced due to life transitions subsides.

Children, teens and families are our passion and describe our ideal clientele. Your parenting instincts tell you something has changed with your child. You wonder is it something with school, friends, or a stressor that you have no idea about. Perhaps, your family unit has gone through major change or loss. Your desire is to have your child be back to their best self. You've tried everything you can think of in your parenting arsenal; long talks, together time, consequences and for some reason the issue is still there. As parents we don't always have all the answers and it is ok to reach out for help!

I start with a thorough assessment of your relationship, taking up to 3 or 4 sessions to gather an accurate and comprehensive relationship history.

Client's best suited to my specialties and approach are those that are honest, open-minded and willing to do the work needed to bring about healing and change. I am comfortable working with clients of any religion, spirituality, ethnicity, nationality, culture, accent, gender, gender identification, sexual orientation, ability, disability, education level or lack thereof, political preference, style of speech and any kind of background, as long as they are over the age of 18. I have the most training and experience with victims of any kind of abuse and/or trauma, as well as those with substance abuse issues.
