I'm a laid back therapist whose goal is to provide a comfortable environment to people like you that is empathic, non-judgmental, and culturally sensitive. As a certified Brainspotting (BSP) therapist with extensive training, I can help you identify, process, and release emotional and physical sources of trauma, both big and small. BSP is an excellent tool for performance enhancement as well.

We all want to feel empowered to deal with the problems life naturally throws at us. We feel empowered when we are in control and manage our lives in the way we want. In order to take control of our lives, we need to have a greater awareness of how our personal attributes and experiences influence the way we respond to what happens in our lives; our strengths, weaknesses, and our underlying motivations and barriers to how we solve life problems. Because we are complex and unique, we need to find our own unique path to building an empowered life.

I work with clients from adolescence through adulthood on topics including anxiety, depression, stress management, life transitions, relationship conflict, and identity exploration. My mission as your therapist is to create an environment in which you feel safe to share your story, develop insight and understanding, and work toward accomplishing your personal goals. I see therapy as a team effort to help you build the life you want for yourself.

Finding a good therapist can be very anxiety producing. When people decide they would like to benefit from seeing a therapist they are often experiencing tremendous upset in their lives. I am aware of this and want you to know that you will be in a comfortable setting where you can tell your story in strict confidence. You will never have to worry about being judged. We will discuss what you would like to address and how I will be able to help you.

I work with adult women that are looking to take the first step in their emotional healing journey. I also work with women that are in, or are considering, a life transition. Additionally, I work with women who are experiencing anxiety and depression, or may be struggling with other life issues that feel overwhelming.

You may find that stress is impacting your sleep, or that apathy has set in and you no longer enjoy things that used to be fulfilling. These feelings may be a result of life changes, like going to college, starting a new career path, becoming a parent, or ending a relationship. The unpleasant feelings might also stem from self-exploration or past problems that are re-emerging.

Our experience enables us to offer effective client, individualized, psychotherapy care. We treat a number of mental health disorders, and provide a neutral ground to individuals, families, and couples in-person or via secured telehealth technologies.

Children, teens and families are our passion and describe our ideal clientele. Your parenting instincts tell you something has changed with your child. Often I work with teens, college students or adults who are experiencing depression, social anxiety, transition, or grief. My clients are often isolated and lacking strong social connections, either by choice or because they feel rejected. For my clients, I try to center my work around logic, common sense and a supportive, trusting relationship. Many people find relief in just being able to tell someone what they're thinking without judgement.
