As a professional counselor, I focus my clinical practice on Cognitive, Behavioral, and Solution-focus Therapy working with families, couples and individuals of all ages. My clinical focus is in the areas of eating disorders, PTSD, and dissociative disorders. I work with eating disorders including anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, orthorexia, avoidant restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID), other specified feeding or eating disorder (OSFED), disordered eating, compulsive exercise and body image concerns. I also work with dissociative disorders (DID, OSDD), depression, anxiety, infertility issues, coping skills, trauma, and PTSD. I specialize in treating adults. My goal is to empower you to write the next chapter of your life.

Having received my Masters from Texas Woman’s University, my approach to therapy is feminist and social justice oriented meaning I work with you to see how your particular mix of identities affects your life and empower you to look at the world with a critical lens.

Often times people allow feelings of anxiety, fear, guilt, shame, etc. to keep them from accomplishing goals that are meaningful to them. I incorporate honesty, direct communication, and compassion into my approach to encourage individuals to be an agent of change within there own lives and align themselves with what they truly value.
