Before pursuing a career in counseling, I always felt a sense of mystery around what therapy was and who was "qualified" to go. I tend to believe that others may have similar feelings about counseling, so the first thing I like to do when I meet someone new is clearly articulate what we are stepping into together. Utilizing the therapeutic relationship, I hope to create a safe, healing environment that promotes greater self-awareness and meaning.
