I have been a consultant and coach for several years and recently added counseling to my practice. I also am a Mental Health Facilitator for Volusia County Schools. My ideal clients are parents/guardians who have children with IEP, 504, or BIP's. I also enjoy working with teachers, newly graduated individuals, people making major life changes, aviation personnel and those looking for support and accountability in their counseling sessions. I have had a private practice since 2010 in historical downtown DeLand in West Volusia County, Florida. I provide both counseling and assessment services for children, adolescents, and adults. I have been a licensed Psychologist in private practice for over 40 years providing diagnosis and treatment for mood and anxiety disorders, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder/Asperger's Syndrome and Learning Disorders. I view diagnosis as a collaborative process that ultimately leads to an effective treatment plan which could include individual psychotherapy, parent consultation and training or a referral to another clinician for specialized treatment that would specifically target the challenges associated with the diagnosis.
