Hello, I'm a psychologist with almost 20 years of experience helping people overcome their mental health challenges. I use an integrative approach that includes cognitive-behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing, and is based in humanistic and relational theories. I work collaboratively to understand the root causes of your difficulties, and create a plan to help you improve functioning and well-being. Having a background in college counseling, a focus of my work is aiding young adults through transitions and obstacles they may face, whether related to mood, anxiety, career or relationships.
Another area of focus for me is in sport and exercise psychology. I enjoy helping athletes of all levels with enhancing performance, managing anxiety, elevating concentration and focus, and goal-setting, recovering from injuries or burnout, and navigating team environments with greater ease.
I work hard to understand and support my clients holistically, by exploring aspects of their identities and histories that inform the people they are today. I would welcome the opportunity to speak with you further about how I may be able to assist you.
