Welcome - I am glad you are here. Therapy can be empowering and transformative. I believe genuine safety and trust are the foundational necessities for therapeutic work and growth. In my 25+ years as a clinical psychologist, I have repeatedly witnessed this truth: taking the risk to begin a therapeutic relationship is an act of both bravery and self-compassion. I seek a balance of gentleness, nurture and challenge with those who entrust me with their stories. My clients have shown me that deep change is possible. My specialties include complex trauma, sexuality, spirituality & anxiety disorders.
As my clients learn to safely attend to and care for their own bodies and stories, they can re-parent wounded parts of self and experience powerful post-traumatic growth. I draw upon therapeutic interventions that integrate a mind-body connection, including EMDR, mindfulness, CBT, Internal Family Systems, and interpersonal & emotional regulation skills.
I lead the Southeast division of the Complex Trauma Treatment Center (CTTC), which is overseen and supervised by nationally recognized leaders in the field of complex traumatic stress. I offer remote services in all PSYPACT states so clients are able to access specialized treatment regardless of location, as well as in-person intensives.
