I offer an LGBTQ-affirming, kink-positive space where clients can talk openly about intimacy, boundaries, communication, and rebuilding a sense of self after relationship harm.
I also support clients exploring their relationship with work, including burnout, career transitions, job loss, and health-related changes. Many of the individuals I work with describe themselves as perfectionists or overachievers. We focus on building balance, prioritizing well-being, and building a sense of self outside of work.

You may be feeling a great sense of disconnectedness, maybe from your partner, your body, or even yourself. You may have tried countless attempts to fix this sense of disconnection but find yourself caught in the same loop over and over again. Maybe you feel lonely even in the presence of others, exhausted by trying to hold it all together, or unsure how reach for closeness without losing yourself. Deeply, you know there needs to be change, but you may find yourself struggling with where to begin.

We say that we are tired so often it becomes a mantra. But underneath that fatigue is often a sense of uncertainty—about who you are, where you’re going, or why life feels like such a mountain to climb.
I work with adults who feel like they are drifting through their own lives. My focus is on supporting members of the LGBTQIA+ community and neurodivergent individuals who are wrestling with depression, anxiety, or trauma. Together, we tackle the "stuck points" in your career and personal life that keep you from feeling whole.

I specialize in sex therapy, with extensive knowledge and skill in the areas of intentional non-monogamy, kink, and queer identity.
Connecting with the right therapist can help us lighten negative feelings from week to week. Often, these feelings can leave us feeling burdened, and reaching out to loved ones can seem impossible. Trusting a therapist enough to give them a call or an email can seem so risky.

In facing life’s challenges, I believe in the importance of asking ourselves, “What’s right with me?” and identifying and building on our strengths. I enjoy accompanying people in exploring themselves with non-judgmental curiosity as they develop greater awareness of their thoughts, feelings, and ways of dealing with whatever life has in store. How have these been influenced by personal experiences growing up and by larger social factors? Gaining this insight allows us to discover what changes might be right for us or to come to accept ourselves just as we are.

Long before we had words for them, many of us learned the roles that helped us belong.
The peacemaker.
The caretaker.
The achiever.
The invisible one.
The strong one.
Without realizing it, we stepped into places that were waiting for us—shaped by love, necessity, expectation, and the quiet pull of family loyalty. Over time, these roles became so familiar that they began to feel like who we were.
Yet many of the burdens we carry were never truly ours.
They were inherited through generations. They were acts of devotion, survival, and adaptation within the family systems that shaped us. Silent agreements. Unspoken rules.

Sex-Positive, Kink Allied Therapists
Why might an individual want to see a sex-positive, kink-allied therapist?
A sex-positive or kinky individual may want to see a sex-positive, kink-allied therapist because the client may feel safer and more supported discussing their experiences and challenges. A therapist who identifies as kink-friendly will have experience with clients having diverse sexual preferences and will likely be nonjudgmental and supportive about issues brought to the table. It is important to note that sex-positive, kink-allied individuals may find equal success with therapists who do not have such specialized knowledge and background. The most important factor in the success of therapy is for the client and practitioner to form a strong, trusting bond.
Do therapists have special training to gain expertise in sex-positive, kink-allied treatment?
Generally, no. There are limited training programs and unofficial accreditations that therapists can pursue, but a therapist’s expertise will ultimately come from their previous experience with similar clients, their engagement with organizations that promote sex positivity or kink-allied lifestyles, and the importance they place on safety and cultural sensitivity.
How can individuals recognize a good sex-positive, kink-allied therapist?
An experienced therapist is able to help clients explore their sexual identity and expression and relieve any discomfort or stigma attached to discussing such matters and the client’s overall challenges. A therapist who is sex-positive and kink-allied is able to create an environment that honors a client’s experience and sexual preferences. To recognize a good therapist, clients can simply ask directly about topics and issues important to them and gauge their comfort level and connection with a clinician based on the responses.
Can clients benefit from having a therapist with a focus on sex positivity and alternative sexual lifestyles?
Some individuals may feel most comfortable knowing that the clinician they’re working with has a commitment to creating an atmosphere of sex positivity and has experience with relationship diversity and alternative relationship structures. Working with a sex-positive, kink-allied therapist may help clients respect their own challenges and improve identity-affirming treatment.
