I specialize in working with couples. I seek depth, looking for patterns in how you find yourself continually ending up in the same place. My type of therapy is good when you keep asking yourself, why do we keep fighting like this? I tend to be very active, getting to the heart of intentions and fears behind the dynamic. I locate the validity of your point of views. I think everyone has logic to their thoughts and behavior and I make a major effort to identify that logic so that we understand, together, what is going on. My work draws from 20 years of psychodynamic training centered on interpersonal relations.

I work with men who are used to holding it all together—professionals, partners, and fathers who are dependable on the outside but feel stressed, disconnected, or not like themselves underneath. They’re often navigating relationship strain, irritability, or a quiet sense that something isn’t working anymore. Together, we go beyond surface-level coping to understand what’s driving these patterns and create meaningful, lasting change. Through focused, intentional work, they begin to feel more grounded, more connected, and more like themselves again.

My work often includes diverse sexual expressions, sex positive & kink-aware therapy, and complicated infidelity, situations that feel nuanced, layered, and uniquely complex.
Sometimes life can feel like you're just going through the motions, surviving rather than truly living. Many of my clients tell me they have a good life overall, but feel deeply dissatisfied in one area: intimacy. They may feel disconnected from themselves or weighed down by unspoken truths in their relationships. Often the same painful argument resurfaces with a partner, once or twice a year, and when it happens, it's BIG! and draining. With a holistic, sex-positive approach, I offer a safe and supportive space to explore hidden desires, break old cycles and move toward a more authentic, connected way of living and loving.

Along with working with clients confronted with conflicted relationships and the potential for divorce, my major areas of clinical focus include infidelity, domestic violence, sexual abuse, parenting issues, empty-nest syndrome and life cycle changes, often resulting in symptoms of depression, anxiety and PTSD.
Have past therapies not worked and are you back to dealing with the same patterns that cause you to feel disconnected? Using the modalities of Relational Life Therapy (Terry Real) and the Enneagram, a typology tool, I help you deal with those parts of you that don't want to do the skills you have learned in other therapies. As a relationship specialist, my approach is compassionate and honest with the intention of helping you gain mindful self-awareness of those tendencies that keep you stuck with the goal of guiding you towards a more fulfilling life of connection, acceptance, and love.

Whatever is getting your way as a couple, including infidelity, can be handled if you have the will and the right roadmap.
Are you worried about your future together? Fighting too much, too often, too intensely? Or the opposite: avoiding conflict for fear of getting lost in it. Conflicts that are avoided or are too long and too intense and too difficult to recover from will all weigh you down. You know that things can be easier: you know you could communicate more efficiently, smarter, and get to have fun together on the other side this. What you need then is a therapist who can diagnose communicational difficulties and engineer solutions that keep you out of the same trouble in the future.

Infidelity Therapists
How does therapy for infidelity work?
A skilled infidelity therapist will provide a safe space for clients to communicate their feelings and concerns. The goal is to be completely honest about what led to the cheating and how it has affected the entire family to prevent it from recurring in the future. The therapist will help the clients work on rebuilding mutual trust and respect and developing better communication and conflict-resolution skills. If the goal is to remain a couple, clients will learn the “danger signs” for their specific relationship, and they will make a renewed commitment to be faithful.

How long does therapy for infidelity take?
Recovery from infidelity can take time, and it can vary from person to person. Generally, a therapist will want to see the clients at least once a week for around six months. Then the sessions can be arranged as needed, depending on the clients’ individual needs. While therapy may end or shift to an as-needed basis, it can take up to two years or more for some clients to fully recover from infidelity.

How does therapy help the partner who was cheated on?
When a client discovers their partner’s infidelity, their trust in the relationship and in the life they had together may be shattered. They often experience mental health symptoms, such as anxiety, depression, grief, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). They don’t always want to stay in the relationship; they may feel ambivalent or may even want to leave. Therapy gives these clients a safe and healthy way to communicate all of their complicated emotions and concerns.

How does therapy help the partner who committed infidelity?
Infidelity often occurs when one or both partners’ emotional needs are not being met in the relationship. Therapy can help this client understand why they cheated and figure out how to address those unmet needs without resorting to infidelity in the future. This can lessen (but not entirely eliminate) the risk of repeated infidelity. Clients who cheat may also feel intense guilt about deceiving their partners, a sentiment that they can work through in therapy.
