My therapeutic approach is both strengths-based and trauma focused. I start out by identifying your strengths alongside your treatment goals. I believe that we all hold the answers inside of us, and clarity will come once we slow down, bring in compassion and curiosity, and hold space for all the parts of you. I am trained in psychodynamic therapy, Internal Family Systems and EMDR. I have experience helping people who have struggled with suicidal thoughts, severe depression, chronic PTSD, severe anxiety, and personality disorders. If therapy hasn't worked for you in the past, let me see if I can change that for you.

I began practicing as an in-home clinician working with people after discharge from long-term psychiatric hospitalization. It was during that period that I received intensive training to provide Dialectical Behavior Therapy. The intense dialectical process has been helpful for many of my clients to achieve stability and work towards resolving traumatic experiences. Part of regulating our behavior is teaching our body and brain to better regulate so I also specialize in Neurofeedback/biofeedback modalities to support behavioral interventions.

Accepting clients via telehealth only! Deciding to start therapy is hard, and finding the right therapist for you can be even harder! I know first hand how important the therapist/client relationship is and I am here to be that support for you. I am not your "textbook therapist", I am a person first and strive to offer a unique experience that feels genuine and real plus (yes we can laugh and cry in sessions). With my wide range of experience in the field and a genuine passion for helping those in their mental health journey, it would be my privilege to work with you!

In addition to therapy, I provide clinical supervision for recent MSWs towards licensure.
Starting therapy is not easy. But neither is living the life of disappointments and regrets. If you feel you are in a dead end, if your job is boring and ungratifying and the relationships are toxic or lack depth and zest, if you struggle with finding your place in this world or even question whether life is worth living, perhaps it is time to examine your life choices and remove the blocks that hold you from finding meaning, happiness, and purpose. I practice psychotherapy that is informed by the traditions of psychoanalysis and look at each individual in the context of this person's unique experiences and unique life story.
