I have served all populations throughout the years, from young children to elderly, with all different types of challenges. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Dance/Movement Therapist. I specialize in trauma-informed care for children (especially ages birth-6 years old) and adults. My background includes working with children and adults who have experienced various forms of trauma, such as abuse, neglect, loss, and disrupted attachments, as well as supporting children on the autism spectrum. Our outward behaviors and physical manifestations are representative of what we are feeling and thinking. In order to understand the whole person and effect change, I believe it is important to address the underlying reasons for behaviors.

I am a licensed psychologist. I have been practicing psychology for 40 years and have been in private practice for 30 years. The vast majority of my training during the course of my career has been in the area of behavioral assessment, behavioral interventions and cognitive-behavioral techniques. I take a directive and problem solving approach to counseling.
