I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Dance/Movement Therapist. I specialize in trauma-informed care for children (especially ages birth-6 years old) and adults. My background includes working with children and adults who have experienced various forms of trauma, such as abuse, neglect, loss, and disrupted attachments, as well as supporting children on the autism spectrum. Our outward behaviors and physical manifestations are representative of what we are feeling and thinking. In order to understand the whole person and effect change, I believe it is important to address the underlying reasons for behaviors.

I am a licensed psychologist. I have been practicing psychology for 40 years and have been in private practice for 30 years. The vast majority of my training during the course of my career has been in the area of behavioral assessment, behavioral interventions and cognitive-behavioral techniques. I take a directive and problem solving approach to counseling. I offer the following services: cognitive and behavior therapy for children , adolescents and adults, psychological evaluations, evaluation of autism, interventions and treatment for anxiety, and depression. Behavioral intervention for sleep and insomnia.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with approximately ten years experience providing professional clinical treatment to children , adolescents, adults and families. I have successfully engaged clients of all ages in a trusting therapeutic relationship and I am committed to establishing a collaborative relationship between the client and myself. My experience has given me a unique ability to connect to difficult children and adolescents. My goal is to help provide clinical insight and counseling resulting in effective changes for the clients I serve. I practice a goal oriented approach that involves the family.

I have been treating families, couples, individuals and children for over 20 years. I enjoy working with families in transition, including divorce and blended families. I have experience in treating people with depression and anxiety as well.
