I help adolescents struggling with intense emotions, impulsivity, and conflict at home or school. Many face mood swings, defiance, academic issues, or peer challenges. I also support parents seeking a calmer home, better communication, and effective behavior strategies. Using evidence-based approaches, we build skills for emotional regulation, strengthen relationships, and restore stability. My goal is for teens to feel heard, respected, and capable, while helping families set healthy limits, reconnect, and move forward with confidence.

EMDR, Brain Spotting, CPT, nutritional psychotherapy, neuroscience certification, ACT, IFS, ERP, Advanced certifications in anxiety, sleep issues and ADHD.
Sometimes life is hard, and we all need a little help. Life can become overwhelming, and reaching out for support is a meaningful step toward change. My role is to provide steady guidance when things feel unmanageable and to offer thoughtful challenge when you’re ready to move forward. Together, we work directly with the difficult moments rather than avoiding them, building the capacity to grow, heal, and move at a pace that feels sustainable. Instead of avoiding the “hard things,” we need to do the hard work, grow, and thrive. It would be my pleasure to walk alongside you as you take the next steps in your healing journey.

I have extensive experience working with adults struggling with substance use, dual diagnosis, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. I've been particularly successful in helping patients develop relapse-prevention strategies by identifying triggers, recognizing warning signs, and building coping skills that support long-term recovery and emotional wellness. I also work with patients on improving time management, daily routines, and overall mental health awareness. I help them better understand their symptoms, develop practical life skills, and create achievable goals that promote stability, personal growth, and lasting change.

Many common mental health concerns are worsened by a lack of connection. The last decade as a therapist has confirmed the relationship is the most impactful part of treatment! In my work with new and existing moms and young adults launching into the world, I prioritize human connection (and a healthy dose of humor) to genuinely and authentically accompany you on the road to the best version of yourself...in and through the lasting affects of childhood trauma, navigating the challenges of motherhood, or managing your daily life...you can expect to experience a sense of care and compassion in a non judgmental space!

Are you stuck in an endless cycle of obsessive thoughts, constant worrying, anxious symptoms, or stress? I'm here to help. I work with individuals, couples, and families navigating challenges such as anxiety, OCD, PTSD, relationship stress, and life transitions. Before becoming a therapist, I spent a decade working in music, and I bring that same creativity and openness into the therapy room. My goal is to provide a judgment-free, compassionate space where clients feel comfortable exploring both present struggles and deeper patterns that may be holding them back.

We have received training in evidence-based treatments, including Exposure Response and Prevention ( ERP) therapy—the gold standard treatment for OCD.
I always take a collaborative approach to therapy. Together, we'll create a hierarchy of fears and work our way through. The goal being to gradually confront and overcome your fears. Eventually, we'll get to the top, where we'll combat some of your greatest challenges with OCD. I'll be with you through the whole process. At NOCD, my team and I provide personalized and effective specialized treatment for OCD and related conditions, such as BFRBs (including skin-picking, nail-biting, and hair-pulling). Our understanding of the nuances of these conditions enables us to diagnose and treat them properly.

We honor the courage it takes to ask and seek. Humans are meaning-makers, and we seek out answers, particularly to the hard questions around self and identity. Suffering is a part of the human experience, and the hardships of life have a way of giving us false answers to these questions of "who am I?" Difficult experiences fill us with beliefs such as "I am not enough" or perhaps "I am too much," or "I am shameful/unloveable/incapable/a bad parent/fill in the blank." Maybe you're struggling with a transition, or crippled by perfectionism or scrupulosity. Perhaps something from the past keeps coming up.

Exposure Response Prevention (ERP) Therapists
Do I need exposure and response prevention therapy?
Many clients decide to seek help for obsessive thoughts and compulsive behaviors when these symptoms are distressing enough to disrupt everyday life. Any thoughts or behaviors that cause friction in close relationships are also worth addressing. In addition, the client’s symptoms don’t have to be severe for them to benefit from ERP therapy.

Is exposure and response prevention therapy part of cognitive behavioral therapy?
Exposure and response prevention is one specific type of CBT that focuses on behavioral change in response to triggering stimuli. It is related to exposure therapy but adds an additional component of preventing compulsive and harmful responses.

How long does exposure and response prevention therapy take?
While every patient is different, exposure and response prevention therapy typically lasts around 12 sessions, although some treatments can take longer. A therapist will determine if the treatment is complete based on how the client faces their fears, particularly the strongest ones. When a client feels less anxiety about stimuli that once evoked terror or distress, that is generally an indication that they are nearing the end of ERP therapy.

What are the limitations of exposure and response prevention therapy?
The most common pitfalls of exposure and response prevention therapy include not addressing a client’s core fears, allowing the client to avoid their most distressing stimuli, and using imaginary exposure when the client requires real-life exposure (and vice versa). ERP therapy is most effective when the client commits to the full course of treatment; if the client stops early or doesn’t practice what they have learned outside of therapy sessions, they are less likely to have successful outcomes.
