Hi there! I'd like to share a glimpse into how I approach therapy with kids, teens, parents and adults—if any of this resonates with you, please reach out! First, we're a team, and our collaboration is everything. Your comfort in being your authentic self is my top priority. Together, as equals, we're on a quest for self-discovery and growth. Second, I'm a big believer in thinking outside the box. When words fail, we have endless tools to explore - from Expressive Arts Therapy to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). We'll create a unique approach for you.

Offering both individual and family therapy, I’ve spent 25 years in the field passionately guiding adults, teens, and children (as young as 5) along their journey to wellness. I particularly love incorporating creative modalities including the use of sand trays, puppet play, games, and other crafts. These are all powerful tools to help teach kids essential skills in concrete ways. When working with youth, parents most often become a critical part of treatment planning, actively participating in skills building activities with the child in treatment. My work with adults often involves parent support and/or individual counseling.

Congratulations on taking a step towards change and feeling better! I have worked with individuals, couples and families in residential and outpatient settings. I use a variety of techniques such as experiential, CBT, Solution-Focused, Motivational Interviewing, Gestalt and psychoeducational modalities. I am EMDR Certified and use EMDR to help clients recover from traumatic, disturbing and shame-based memories. I help clients find the motivation to change their unsatisfying patterns by empowering them to identify, express and prioritize needs and to stay focused on their goals.

Choosing a therapist can seem overwhelming. Deciding who to share your story with requires an investment of your time, energy and finances. My twenty five years of experience in the fieldnhas helped me to connect with people in a safe and supportive environment to tackle the obstacles life sometimes throws our way. We all can get off track or lose sight of our hopes and goals for the future. Finding the right support during these times is crucial to navigating our way back to the people we love and the life we want for ourselves.
