Do you only feel good about yourself if you’ve checked enough tasks off your to-do list? If you are burning out from over-functioning, over-extending, and struggling to say “no” at work and at home, you are likely running on empty. Maybe you are missing moments with loved ones because your mind is busy replaying the past or stressing over tomorrow. It is completely normal to feel frustrated, bitter, and disappointed when life feels like an endless cycle of obligation. You are stuck in survival mode, but you don't have to stay there.

Immmediate openings now! I believe therapy should be a space where clients can laugh, cry, and process honestly; without judgment, pressure, or stigma.
I work with kids, teens, and adults, shaping sessions to what each person needs. I use EMDR to support trauma work, but I’m just as comfortable treating anxiety, depression, ADHD, grief, life stress, identity shifts, and a wide range of other concerns.
With children and teens, I work collaboratively with both kids and their families, incorporating art and play-based interventions.

You’re exhausted from carrying the mental load of everything. You know you should be kinder to yourself, but somehow, you always feel behind. Let’s work on that together.
I take a laid-back but direct approach to therapy. If you’re looking for someone who will just nod and ask, ‘How does that make you feel?’ I’m probably not the right therapist for you. But if you want someone who will listen and challenge you to make real changes, we might be a great fit.

As men age, they produce less testosterone required for normal physical performance and sexual enjoyment. Low testosterone levels can also lead to other issues such as muscle loss, fatigue, decreased sexual desire, mood swings, memory loss, depression, and anxiety. Hormone replacement therapy can reverse these symptoms by boosting low testosterone levels and correcting hormone imbalance. Men receiving testosterone replacement therapy can see an increase in energy, performance, sexual virility and improved feelings of well-being, as well as reduced body fat, decreased mood swings, increased strength and improved mood.

Together, we create a safe, supportive space to better understand emotions, heal from past experiences, develop healthier coping strategies, and build the confidence, resilience, and self-compassion needed to create a more meaningful and fulfilling life.

Intervention Therapists
How does an intervention work?
An intervention is a planned, structured meeting in which a person’s family or friends voice concerns about the person’s behavior and its consequences; the goal is for the person to accept treatment. In this meeting, the person’s loved ones (often with the guidance of a trained interventionist) share how the person’s behavior has harmed them and the consequences if the person refuses treatment. They collectively ask the person to accept a proposed treatment plan.
How effective are interventions?
There isn’t extensive research on the efficacy of interventions, in part because success is difficult to measure. Individuals often enter addiction treatment after an intervention, for example, but treatment itself may not work, especially if the person only begins due to external pressure from others rather than due to internal motivation to change. However, if all other attempts at helping someone have failed, an intervention may be worth exploring.
What are the limitations of interventions?
While a friend or family member’s intentions are in the right place in wanting to help a loved one through an intervention, there are significant limitations to the approach. The surprising nature of the event can make the person feel ambushed or judged. They may feel embarrassed or ashamed as a result, and relationships may be strained or broken. This can make it difficult for the individual to be receptive to the concerns of their loved ones and the interventionist.
Are there alternatives to interventions?
Rather than confronting a loved one through an intervention, an effective and less pressured approach is to create space for a caring, open, one-on-one conversation. This works best if the loved one asks open-ended questions, listens attentively to the answers, and frames their observations and statements with concern rather than judgment. More than one conversation may be needed, but change can take root over time.
