About
In my private practice I enjoy working with a variety of presenting concerns including anxiety, relationship issues, depression, loss, stress and life's transitions. I have a special interest in how clients manage vulnerability through disordered eating and body image issues. When life becomes overwhelming many turn to controlling food and body as a protective strategy. With compassion and respect, I will help you understand your personal relationship with food. As your insight and self-awareness grow you will make the behavioral changes you desire while incorporating healthier coping skills.
I have worked in outpatient counseling services at Wellesley College and Harvard University, child/adolescent inpatient and substance abuse day treatment. My post-doctoral fellowship was at the Cambridge Eating Disorder Center. At Harvard University my roles included Director of Training, Coordinator of Eating Disorder Services and Supervisor to ECHO.
Please see my website for additional details about my philosophy and private practice.
